First Show 2006

Our first official show of 2006 went pretty well like... a juggling show. There were drops, misses, nailed tricks, laughs, and best of all... Miss' of a different kind. ;-) We were pleased to have a crowd of about 7 students. The show was filmed by Dave Sallee and will hopefully be added to our Club Video Archive soon. So stay tuned...

After the show, we stuck around for about an hour to teach juggling to those who were interested and invited them to participate in our club activities. I know they'll come because they're already addicted!

Thanks to a wonderful audience and to the club members who made it happen.

Worked on the editing this weekend. Have it done and it is currently being uploaded to Google. It's HUGE (I kept the same look as the 4 ball video, which I was really happy with the quality of) as in 550 MB huge. Will be interesting to see what that works out to be on the Google site.

A few things to do differently next time.

1. It would be really nice if we could get someone to work the camera for us. Did the best I could by just parking it on the piano, but it would be better with more camera work.

2. Sound is always going to be an issue, not much I can do about that though.

3. Will need to remember to get some crowd shots. Of course would be great to have a larger crowd . . . heh heh.

4. Will need to remember to get some "teaching" shots after the show is over. Showing students learning how to juggle.

I think for the first show though, it went very well. Antje wins the "zero drops" award :-)

I'll post another comment when it's uploaded / verified / Live.
